Okay, I am new at this, but I have a 1992 Nissan Sentra SE-R...Do I have a low port or high port?? I am confuse please let me know cause I wanna buy a used CAI but I don't know if my car is low port or high port.

High-port and low-port refers to the position of the fuel injectors, on our 91-93 sr20's, the injectors are placed up *high*, which makes it a high port, in 94 they put the injectors down low, hence the name low-port. so, you have a high-port.

Actually most people use the throttle body as the reference point.

It's my understanding that it has to do with the actual intake ports on the head, or the angle at which they go into the head. Something like that.

Either way, if you have a 92, you have a high-port.

Yeah that's what it means really but alot of people don't understand that so they go by the style of manifold.

So what years are high-port and what are low-
port?? I have a '96 200SX SE-R and never reallyy understood all the high-port/low-port talk either.

You have a low-port. The way I look at it is like this: if you can see the injectors you have a high-port (91-93 SR20's), otherwise you have a low-port (94-01 SR20's).

So why does AEMs website state the '91 -'93 Sentra SE-R is "low-port" and the '94 Sentra SE-R is a "high-port" ?? Either way, which of these also fits on the B14 SR20DES *** I have a '96 200SX??

91-93 Highport (the best)
94+ Lowport (bleh)
