I finally got around to installing my AD22VF brake yesterday, and I ran into a problem. The problem was that I accomplished the installation without any major problems. I couldn't believe the install was so easy, that I have to think that there's is something wrong with my car and I just don't know it yet! I've installed a header in 10 hours (damn rusty bolts), blown a fusible link when relocating the battery to the trunk (oh, red is positive), had wrong parts when installing GC camber plates (f%$#ing Ground Control!), etc., etc. So I know this is too good to be true. http://laf.cioe.com/~benbobbo/NonCGI/biggrin.gif
Seriously, it went pretty easy. The only problem was that the end of the brake lines wouldn't fit into the little prongs on the calipers. But a minute or so of dremeling took care of that. http://laf.cioe.com/~benbobbo/NonCGI/biggrin.gif
There also seems to be a bit more pedal travel before the brakes really engage, but it's not that big of a deal.
I haven't really tested the brakes effectiveness (tools and other crap floating around inside the car), so I can't say how much greater they are over stock brakes. I'm guessing that I probably won't notice a difference until the 20th minute of a track session. http://laf.cioe.com/~benbobbo/NonCGI/biggrin.gif
