I've done a few searches, but haven't had much luck.

I'm interested in what kind of hp gains do the HKS and Greddy catbacks have? Have there been any dyno's floating around?

I hear a lot of good things about greddy.

I have a greddy, and I don't really think I felt all that much of a gain. I heard it helps w/ the headers, but I am currently without, so I don't know firsthand. However I think I remember hearing something in the range of 5-7..like I said nothing major to write home about for such an expensive mod... Its saving grace is the kickass sound.

2-5 HP over stock. if you have cams or boost, you will gain some good HP.

i chose the greddy cat, because i heard it had the least back presure and also has an deep tone to it. i think i gave me a couple of pony's but i'm also running an hotshot header with it. if you go to se-r.net and look up the old sport compact car, project car 200sx se-r they talk about the exhaust set up.

the stock 200sx se-r exhaust system is actually a pretty decent system. like said above- 2-5 hp is the usual power gains, except if you have cams, turbo, ect..

After I installed my Greedy SP on my car, it felt like I lost a ton of low end power. Not sure if I gained anything up high though. I was really dissapointed in the power department but it sure sounds nice. I think it is by far the best note you can hear from a 4 cyl

When I put my greddy exhaust on, I didnt feel any difference for about a week. Then i unplugged my battery over night to reset the ecu, to see if this would help, and sure enough it did.
It opened up a lot at hi-rpm, and i definetely gained some low end power. I wanted to get a 2.5" exhaust, but i settled for this one since Ben (bennitomalit0) had it.

Its amazing how small the gains are for a mod that is so expensive. I've seen aftermarket pulleys push out more HPs then an exhaust.

my friends 4 pulley set gave twice the amount of gains for half the price of an exhaust system. stick w/ the stock exhaust, or if you want the sound just get a universal stainless muffler, or if you want the small gains from an exhaust go to a auto shop and get them to custom bend you a 2"-2 1/4" pipe from the cat back w/ a universal muffler. same gains and half the price. my custom cat back gave me 4 whp, for $250.

I felt a huge gain from my exhaust. Reason being, I waited until I had every other bolt on before I got it.
