Was wondering if any of the CAI's available to us (AEMs, Hotshot and Place Racing) can be used as a POP Charger - for when it's raining hard.
Also, out of all of them, which one of them has correct fittings for all the hoses that are going into our stock rubber intake?

they can, but it's not called a POP unless it's from JWT. It is referred to a a short stack intake. The full CAI is calle a full stack intake

You mean all of them can be converted to a "short stack intake"?

My Place racing CAI is setup as a short stack aka warm air setup.

I thought you were going somewhere else w/ this thread. Like using a POP on a CA. i am going to try this when i get my VE. I'll might need an additional adapter from PR between the POP and pipe, but not sure yet.

Okay...now we know that all CAIs can be converted to a short stack intake.
What about the hose fittings?
I'm talking about the OEM intake before the MAF which has lots of hoses connected to it. I hope I'm making sense here.
Which one of the CAIs have all the proper connections for the hoses?
I also have the impression that the Place Racing CAI is the only one with a place for you to place a nut/screw to hold the CAI pipe in place near the hole where the Cone Filter sits behind the wheel fender.
Am I right in this assumption?
I really wish there are some pics of the different CAIs available

Hey man, i dont know much about cai and the hose fitings.. but i do know that you can shorten the hoses and buy a small adapter filter that goes on the hose if the CAI doesnt have all the fitings.. anyone know what these are called?

I have a (short stack) intake and it works fine with the one hose that comes from the fr of the valve cover to the intake disconnected. i am going to get a small k&n breather filter to put on it though.

I am using the PR cold air with the jwt pop in the fender. All of my hoses are hooked to it. Anyway JDM_2ner you will need another adapter.
