I got a year 96 P11 primera with SR20DE engine. (HP11)

My car is japan import and JDM (with japanese stickers over everywhere).

It has cast iron header (a aluminum plate covering the headers)

Low port intake

Mitibusti distrubuter

Engine spec 700rpm(auto) 680rpm(manual) idle and 15deg BTDC timing

Silverly grey engine cover.

I saw many SR20DE have a 850, 800rpm timing but mine is as low as 680.

Hey guys it sounds like he is from another country and doesnt speak good english. And what I think he means by stickers evrywhere is all those stickers under the hood and evrywhere are in japanese instead of english or whatever language he speaks.

KelvinC, first of all, welcome to the forums. Where are you located? Are you in Japan?

Yes, you have the regular P11 SR20DE. Nissan lowered the idle speed from 800rpm (AT/MT) to 700/680rpm (AT/MT) for P11 engine. One of the very first generation (oldest) SR20DE came with 850rpm idle speed. Biggest difference between P10 engine is you have the roller rocker arm engine. For North American market, they didn't use Roller-Rocker engine until the year 2000.
Another difference is the red line. earlier SR20DE had redline at 7500rpm, but your P11 motor is redlined at 7000rpm. There are a few difference in electrical system and fuel system also.

All 2.0L Primera came with 10:1 Compression Ratio motor. (150ps)
