We checked everything and it just won't idle. We got a Consult hooked up and it's not throwing any codes. We haven't found any vacuum leaks either. Any suggestions?

AAC valve? I thought you fixed it not idling by changning the injector O-rings James? Can you Turn the idle screw all the way up and make it idle that way? TPS voltage? Hook an MDM-100 up to it or maybe your consult will do it, and see if the idle switch is on, and see how much the AAC valve is open. Hope you fix it, I assume you're working on Heins car?

is the air hose going to the air regulator/aac valve hooked upto a spot before the tb or just plugged up? I had to add a nipple to hook this hose up before the TB. and as soon as I did,all idle problems ended for me instantly.

Thanks redman that helped out. It is still not idling, though. Maybe the fuel pressure needs to be messed with?

When mt BB ECU was in my car, it wouldn't idle, but my DE ECU would, and the BB ECU wasn't throwing any codes at all. Check the ECU.

The car has a JWT ECU, Fmax turbo setup, and MSD 50lb injectors on it...I suggested the ECU to him, and that is still my guess. Of course the car was built by monkeys, so that would explain something too.

yeah an mdm100 would help to see if aac valve is working or tps is hooked up at right.timing, etc. does it stay on at all? make sure you're air reg. and aac electrical connectors are hooked up.

Yeh, James has a consult, so that shouldnt be a problem to monitor those things. What I'm curious about is, can you keep it running with putting your foot on the gas?

Yes, Ryan, the car will keep running if you put your foot on the gas. The next thing we are gonna try is to mount the aeromotive fpr directly to the fuel rail instead of having it connected with a hose.

make sure the nipple is the same diameter as the one on the int. man. Ithink it's 3/8" .

Are you running stock recirc valve? If so is it open or recirculated?

I'm running the Greddy Type S. It still runs the same with or without a recirculating hose. I got a good tip from JGY today so I will try it tomorrow. We'll see how it goes.
