Alright one of my best friends just got his I think it is an Avenir DET and he has basically got it all installed. The only problem that he has said anything to me about is unlike his other SR20 engine that was in there the new DET doesnt have that round plate on the passenger side that you bolt your right axle to. You know the one that is I think made on the back of the block and you slide your axle through it and it has the 3 bolts that holds that axle in place. Is he gonna have to get a custom axle made for that side or what is he gonna have to do?

I read in Sport compact car on an in stall in to a g20, they used the old bracket off the old motor.
Small catch here though only two bolts are used.
I have an avenir almost ready to stuff, it looks kinda funny but in the article they said it's not a show stopper.

So you should be able to take the one off the old engine and use it on the SR20DET? I have never paid close enough attention to see if can unbolt?

That's what I did with mine. I had to go back and forth to make sure I wasn't wacked on which holes to use.
Remember one of the hole is hangin in the air.
Pritty sure that it's no stopper.

It's technicaly part of the axle assembly. 3 14mm bolts hold it to the DE block and only 2 go back in on a DET.
