**Meet DOWN SOUTH :) **
Hey... I have been thinking about getting a meet together for the southern states. I've talked with a few forum members about it on various boards.. and I'd like to put something together in the next 2-3 months. Possible meeting places would be Baton Rouge, LA or New Orleans, LA.... Possibly Gulport, MS. Baton Rouge is REALY nice, as it's a college town. There are two ¼ mile tracks, and 1 of them is brand new.. it features a ¼ mile drag strip, and realy nice road course. The other nice thing is that I'm friends with the owner of the track. The parking lot is HUGE, and would be perfect for a big meet. New Orleans is also nice, obviously because of the city, night life. But, there are no tracks or anywhere that I can think of to hang out. And, I'm sure there would be some underage people, so clubbing would be out of the question. Gulfport is nice as well... as the beach is right there. Also, there's a pretty decent ¼ mile track there.
I'm looking to make this a weekend event.. and it will include all Nissans. I'm looking for turnout to be around 100-150 people/cars, at least.
