has anyone ever stuck a heat shield on their intake? does it seem like you feel any difference in performance?

i pand to getto one out soon...i dunno about any power differences but it'll keep some dirt out of the filter i hope...

i dont know if a heat sheld would do much, its pritty far away from any main heat soreses under the hood as it could be.
