Is there any difference between a DE crank and a DET crank? Or between the the FWD and RWD cranks? I'm talking about the 8-counterweight versions; disregard the 4-counterweight ones, there's obviously a difference there.

I believe they both share the same crank. I don't think they changed the crank until 2000. But I could be wrong.
