does anyone know if the built-in resonator of the PS catback is perforated core or louvered? I was thinking about replacing the PS muffler with an N/A Apexi N1(eeeek, I'm getting it cheap dammit) Not sure how it'll turn out... probably very LOUD... but should make better power... what do you all think??

The PS resonator is small (12") and louvered. I did something similar to you - I replaced the PS muffler (because it developed a rattle) with a straight-through 3A Racing stainless unit. The car instantly became too loud to drive, especially on the freeway. I ended up putting a big Thrush glasspak in place of the PS resonator, and putting the PS resonator in the horizontal part of the exhaust (where it jogs toward the passenger side of the car). The car is still too loud and I am saving towards a HKS or Greddy or Rosen unit that will shut it up again.

Hope this helps.

well, thats what I figured...

hey did you notice any difference going to the 91 intake cam? 94's supposedly have an intermediate cam, so I could never find out if it is worth getting.

It's worth it. It might not be quite as much gain as a B14 but for the price why not?

well, I did it... originally was gonna just change the muffler, but didn't want to leave that resonator in there.. so i ended up just getting the full catback... 2.25 with a Magnaflow muffler and no resonator at all.... I went with this because a friend has a similar setup and the sucker is quiet and makes good power.

for the Hawaii peeps.. Barr's in Kaneohe does a fantastic/quick job, screw ESH..
