my car had a bit of an accident where i hydroplaned jumped a curb and the right front corner of the oil pan hit and in turn chipped that corner off. its about a 2.5"x1"x1" triangle. i know the body flexed and i want to just go ahead and do a det swap while its down, but i want to be able to drive the car for atleast 1 day to make sure every thing is straight before i invest in the new engine. is there anything that i can do?

If you are going to junk the engine anyways just go to Advance and get some MagnaWeld or something like that. They have it on the counter by the checkout ussually. It is a clay like epoxy that will fix most holes. JB Weld is to thin for this type of work. This stuff comes in a round plastic tube with two plugs on each end a a piece of paper rolled up inside. You will find it.

I vote for the epoxy too. I've never used the MagnaWeld stuff before (although I'm sure its great), but I've used JB Weld. I JB Welded a hole in the side of a head on a Ford inline 6. It was done to be temporary, and I kept waiting for it to leak... it never did. Car is still being daily driven. Oh, and that was three years ago. JB Weld ownz.
if it n/a then epoxy should do it
Also if you drive hard i do not think it will be that good post pictures that will help out a lot
