Anyone out there have any idea what the #'s are for a 240sx with a fairly stock sr20det DFI setup?

I'm the 240sx with a sr20det distributor JWT setup....that got screwed over by BoostFactor. The car's finally running decent now after a month or so of crazed work on it by my friends and I. Made a post earlier about holding boost past 10 psi... still drops off... =( I think the little t25 *** can't handle it past 5k rpms. hehe

Don't got the dynos scanned in yet but here are the #'s.

232 whp 250 ft lbs @ 15 psi which drops steadily after 5k down to 10 psi by 7k rpms.

250 whp 285 ft lbs @ 20 psi ( let off at 4700 rpms on this run because the injectors were going static )

Most recent track runs :
13.836 @ 104.34 mph (15 psi that drops to 10 psi)
14.012 @ 104.85 mph (16 psi that drops to 10 psi)
13.874 @ 105.68 mph (17 psi that drops to 10 psi)

Best Track Time :
13.7 @ 102.34 mph (13-14 psi? that drops to 10 psi)

I have really really really ....crappy tires....and an open differential. I have a little trouble getting off the line :)

Oh, and you might be asking yourself... WHY THE HELL did he try to run his car at 20 psi? Answer is, I didn't know *** it would max out at when the engine *** under more load. It was the same setting I had at the tracks where I *** peaking at 17 psi and dropping to 10 psi, but that *** all in the plus 4700 rpms range.

How does your car sound with your 3" testpipe and exhaust setup? I will be running something very similar. Is it Raspy at all? Seems like some nice numbers. I keep hearing people talking about injectors going static:confused: How do you know when they are? Feeling? or monitoring voltages somehow? Thanks

hrm...the test pipe is resonated.. On my car, I didn't really notice a change in the sound of my exhaust. It may have gotten just a tad deeper sounding, but thats it if any. I'm guessing it would vary too depending on what kinda aftermarket exhaust system you're running.

We had the Nissan Consult hooked up while I was doing my runs to check the Injector percentages. The first 2 runs with 15 psi max was fine. They were right at where they should be. The last run with the 20 psi, they went static... ;o

I wish I coulda stayed longer to watch all the cars go.

Thanks for keeping a watch on the injector percentages during the runs. or that 20 psi run mighta ended up with a "BOOOM" ....

What injectors are you running? Upgraded fuel pump? What Bar FP are you running?

I would check your wastegate refrence vaccum lines. Im not sure what year your det is. You also might want to look into the boost control solenoid if you havent bypassed it as well. These are just the obvious things. I hope you were running race gas while doing 15-17psi or atleast hgih octane. =)
