Hi to all europeans,

Iam looking for a header and some cams(not stock) for my nx 2,0 gti does anybody now how to get these parts?I am based in Sweden and i cant find them here,perhaps i have to import them from U.S.A.

AS for your question:

it seems that all the best aftermarket parts for our cars come from either USA or Japan (and sometimes Australia).

CAMS:

1. there are some in the UK. PIPER is the brand but I cannot help you more since all teh info is in retailer's sites. Rather expensive and I have not seen any info on their results from a dynamometer.

2. You can get them from JWT in the USA (http://www.jimwolftechnology.com/serindex.htm)
They are very good, results have been reproduced lots of times and we have tested them on Euro-speced SR20DEs. Both S3 and S4 work GREAT.

3. There is a truckload of Japan-based manufacturers that have cams for our car. JUN, HKS, TODA, TOMEI. ALl of them are of great quality and presumably give great results but info on gains and performance is very rare.

HEADERS:
As far as I know the best setup right now comes from HOTSHOT Performance in the USA.

In all cases, you are probably better off (and cheaper) to import them from either the States or Japan.

I have looked in to the www.100nx.de sigth and found headers and cams,but the headers were to expensive cheaper if i import them from U.S.A.And the cams were regrinds and the duration and lift on them wasen`t so high,cheaper to import them from U.S.A.,but thank you for the info.
