Alright last week i did my water pump and thermostat. Before that my heat would work but only warm not hot. Now it comes out cold. Even after the car is fully warmed up it is still cold. Heater core is not leaking (my floor isn't wet, in the front anyways:( ). Do we have a heater control valve. I looked one up at advance auto and all it lists is a damn universal one. My blower switch is blown but the blower is definatly pushing air, just cold though. Anyone have this problem?:(

My heat doesn't seem to work when the car iss moving fast and the temps are cold outside, so I feel your pain, what I normally do is wait till the whole car is fully warmed up.

Last night i leeft my car running for about a half an hour outside my house with a little heater plugged in to dry up all the water in my car (broken window and a leaking t-top that i finally fixed yesterday). When i came out and checked after like ten minutes, i could feel a little bit of heat coming out of the vents. Then later it was warming up a little more. Maybe it is just needing some time? Also since my fresh air/ recirc air switch broke, where do i cahnge it to recirc so when i put on the heat in the winter dnow dont come in like last year. Is the lever near the blower motor? I have to change the blower switch, so i am going to check while i am there.

Trace all the heater control cables (should be 4). And make sure the cables did not slip on the holders. Your no heat problem could be due to a stuck door- the lever could be in the "hot" position but w/ a slipped cable, the whole cable will move but not the door.

I got heat. Take out your glove box. The top cable all the way top the right. It is the only one looking at you. Pull it towards you. Done. Heat. Next job is get the blower switch so i can have the 3 levels of heat i am missing.
