Ebay has a lot of WAI for sale but they are all for hondas, mitsus, etc. I was wondering if anyone has experimented with custom fitting any WAI meant for a diff car

^A "pioneer" would just get a generic K&N cone filter with a MAF adapter and mate it to a fabricated intake piping of your own. I don't see your point of wanting to use aftermarket intake piping made for other applications.

Besides, companies like Place Racing, Hotshot, and AEM already make cold-air intakes for our cars... Not to mention JWT and Stillen making POP chargers as well.

Option 1:
$30-$50 for a generic K&N cone filter from PepBoys
$10-$20 for a Nissan maf adapter

Option 2:
$35 for K&N replacement filter for stock airbox
Free: Cut open bottom half of stock airbox

Option 3:
$50-$75, what you can expect to pay for a used JWT POP filter which bolts right into the MAF.

Option 4:
Stay stock, save your money for when you can do all you want to do at once.

You would be better off making your own, or finding someone who has one for sale. Intake pipes made for other cars will only *easily* fit the cars they were made for.
