I know this is kinda lame but I thought I would let everyone know that I had some problems with my car that I just fixed. It was not engine related but suspension related. In the end it was causing major toe out whenever I accelerated (I do that a lot) and also wheel hop. This helps explain why I could never get out of the very high 2.3 60 fts and honestly now the car feels faster due to the less drag from the reduced friction from the toe issue. Now that I know that the car was having issues I might actually go back to the 1/4 mile again and see if I can improve my 60ft and 1/4 mile time.

So what was the problem?

Loose lower control arm (two out of three on one side). It was fine until you axcellerate and then it would shift causing a decent amount of toe out. I think it was also causing some wheel hope at the strip and also oversteer at the track. Until I go back I wont know for sure.

Good deal. Did your tires wear significantly more on the inside?

I got a little more wear on the inside then normal. I did have a snappy type of tail out at the track. I used to drive a 510 and that car always did that. I will take it to the track again this weekend. I hope its a little easier to drive.
