: My uncles 9 second Datsun 1200
SE-Rican 11-29-2002, 08:51 AM This is my uncles 9 second Datsun. It ran 9.70 at a 138 mph. The car also dynoed at 549hp to the wheels. It is powered by a Toyota 3TC (1.8) motor. It has all the goodies.

Yeah it is. He helps me out a shit load with my car. He is also a Nitrous man. I turn to him for advice. I owe all my nitrous knowledge to Greg Perry, Andreas Miko, and my Uncle!! He just added a 75 dry shot of nitrous. We are hoping to hit low 9's with it if not high 8's!!

I guess you can say that is what he is good at. He is actually doing some research on a RWD DET. I am trying to convince him to do so, but hell 549 hp is still worthy. I think that motor settles in the Datsun Perfectly!!!:D

hey if your uncle is ***** swap to a DET, look into the FJ20DET series, they are almost the same as the SR's only they are an iron block and can support a LOT more power, we have a 200sx (silvia) over here that runs an FJ worked with a shitload of boost and runs 8's, cant drive it on the street though....bummer
but anyways i reckon shes sweet as it is!

SE-Rican 12-06-2002, 12:05 PM Thanks alot for the compliments gang. I just showed my uncle this post and he got a kick out of it. The car is a animal. They are taking it to the track tonight to see how it runs on nitrous. Like I mentioned it ran a 9.70 all boost no juice. They are expecting low ass 9's or high 8's we'll see. The turbo is a MIC built T-70. Very nice peice!
