Is the oil seal around the distributer replaceable? Mine is leaking. I am talking about the big thin O ring that is between the distributer cap and the distributer. The dealer is closed, thats why I haven't called to verify. Thank you!

Good question, I'd like the answer to this as well. I just replaced the plugs, wires, rotor and cap... I also noticed a bit of oil inside the distributor. Had know idea that there was an o-ring there or that it was something I was supposed to replace... figures.

i replaced my dist and am leaking aswell. me thinks i shall fix it this weekend somehow.

What I'm really hoping for is that there is supposed to be some oil in there where the spindle goes... would kind of make sense, lubrication?

If I have to go and replace a seal, shouldn't be too much trouble... especially considering the number of times I've done it lately:p

Someone who knows more than us(ok, that wouldn't take much for me) please answer this question.
