Im wondering if anyone has any wheels from Team Dynamics. Ive been looking at them, and i like them. its just i havent seen any prices on them! It's making me mad so id thought i would post on here and see if anyone has any, and how much they got them for. Im planning on getting some new wheels for my Xmas present to myself. Im just looking around at other brands besides Rota to see if i like something else. i like the Team dynamics, its just i cant get any info from thier website. any help is appreciated.

Sport Compact Car put those wheels on the project GTX rally car so im sure they are strong but the lineup is pretty much a ripoff of OZ wheels. Im not a big fan of copy cats. Rotas are cool but they are ripoffs too and everyones got them, you would just be another "me too". Try tires.com free shipping you can get wheels and tires for 600-800 bucks and you wont be a ripoff or a me too. Im looking at the rage breaker. Its prob not very lightweight but at $89 a piece who cares.

Here's the closest OZ wheel I could find on OZ's webpage:

http://www.ozracing.com/products/wheels/_images/superturismo.jpg

I guess they look kinda the same, they both are wheels with thin spokes, but they are clearly not a knock-off wheel. Waaaaay more difference than any of the Rota wheels. Anyways, who cares?

Im sticking with my point. The rotas are mugen look alikes AKA replicas. Mugen is a tuner for honda. So your putting honda's replica trash on your nissan:( . No thanks. Team dynamics has one of the best looking 5 spokes ive ever seen but its only in 18s and it only fits on Bimmers. But they also have a wheel that is identical to the OZ F1 cup.

I guess i did say "the lineup is pretty much a ripoff of OZ wheels." and i only site one example, but im still not a big fan. I am still looking for a Nissan endorsed brand of wheels and the closest thing i can find is VOLK which is out of my price range :rolleyes:

Thats my thoughts on wheels. Not trying to start a war :cool:

the subzero is a racing hart knock off; Ive never seen a "mugen subzero"

i know your talking about the slipstreams but the way you said it made it sound like you were refering to all of them. im not trying to hate just trying to clear up something ;)

I have seen the wheels and they seem very nice for the price.

I was interesyed back when my pockets were as deep as JimmyHat's. I talked to a store that carried them in this area and the clerk there told me they constantly had people returning the rims cause they bent real easily going over pothole, etc... He even said that he owned a set and two of them bent bent in a short period of time....all this coming from a guy who sold them.

Just because Mugen makes a rim, I can't put the knock-off on my Nissan? What if Nismo made rims and they looked good. Nobody other than Nissan owners can buy them?

Rota=Light=Cheap.
Cheap=Me.

The rotas are mugen look alikes AKA replicas. Mugen is a tuner for honda. So your putting honda's replica trash on your nissan

Who really cares? the bottom line is that Rota offers lightweight, good looking wheels for a very decent price. They work really well, why would you not want that? If you really wanted the "real thing" you wouldnt be driving a nissan, you'd have a porsche or a bimmer........

I have the Team Dynamics Motorsport Wheels. I have no problem with them and they are light. Mine are 15" in Anthracite Grey.

Rotas are lovely if you don't mind the 6.5 inch width. I want 7 inches for my 205 Azenis. I found the Team Dynamics wheels listed here:

http://www.good-win-racing.com/goodwinracing_005.htm

They are $114 each. Does anyone know if Hub Centric Rings are required for the B13? Those are $18 a set but they only carry Miata sizes. Without rings:

Sub Total $460.00
Tax Rate:0% Tax $0.00
Shipping & Handling $37.16
Grand Total $497.16

Not bad. Best part is that the wheels come in Anthracite. Nice color for a gray SE-R.

The Team Dynamics look like the OZ's I am not sure which ones the superlegga's I think. Hey but rims are rims right, if the are cheap and look the same then what's the problem. Rota Slipstreams are Spoon knockoffs. The rims that FAST91SER has look like Mugen knockoffs. I dont see a problem with CHEAP, LIGHT, and look just like the real thing.

At the same web site I posted above, you will see Rota Slipstream knockoffs for $99. Is that a knockoff of a knockoff?

It exactly says this:

Nippon Racing 15x6.5 "F2"
These look exactly like the Rota Slipstream but have a little nicer finish (the Rota Slipstream is a copy of a Spoon Sports wheel as is this) and a lower cost. Best wheel deal anywhere.

Yea the nippons are knockoffs of the rotas. But I guess you can say knockoffs of Spoons. My friend just got a pair.

I don't think it looks like those either. Heaven for fend, it might actually be an orignal wheel. ;) Not that I would care one way or another.
