Slow 96R 12-01-2002, 11:18 PM OK here's the deal. New gears and syncros. The car shifts fine while driving. When sitting still it will not go into 1 & 2 gear without pushing the clutch all the way to the floor with my heel.:( Is this just a clutch adjustment? If so where do I start? Thanks Its311Pete 12-02-2002, 09:47 PM At what point does your clutch start grabbing? I adjust mine a little lower than some people, but you can adjust your cable under your distr. If that doesn't work then maybe something is wrong with the syncros. Slow 96R 12-03-2002, 09:40 PM OK it took a turn for the worst! :mad: It'll go into 1st gear but won't go into 5th gear now! If it is torn it will cause problems. Also, I would put some more tension on the cable. Yes downshifts fine. By the way the next day I drove it, no problems at all:confused: Today in the snow no problems at all! I'm going to take it on another long trip and see if it does it again.
