fuel cut off is at around 7800.
as for governer? we don't need no stinking governer ;)
i have seen the 140 mark on my speedo with the stock tire size on stock rims..... that was an interesting experence passing a civic doing 125 like it wasn't moving at all hahaha.
to be honist i have no idea how you would see if your comp is stock or not.

if it is a JWT ecu, you can open it and see their daughterboard soldered in.

Fuel cut at 7800 RPM?? Uhh...no, its 7,450. I have a Techtom MDM-100, so I should know...If you get the JWT ECU you can have a 7800 RPM fuel cutoff. You are right about the govener, we have none, I've seen 143 to be exact..

well according to my stock tach fuel cut off is at 7800.
the needle is just shy of the 8g's mark when i hit rev limiter, i don't do this often but have a few times by accdent.
i guess the tach could be off.
no wate how could it be 7450? thats before redline of 7500???
maybe a b14 cuts off at 7450 but i am almost 100% sure a b13 cut off is 7800 any one else know?
thats wack if it is 7450

I dont have a B14, I have a B13, I've had two B13 SR20's and both of them redline at 7450, the B14's redline at 7100, maybe 7200 I believe. Trust me, I know. Maybe you have a JWT ECU and you dont know it? Do you have a B13 or B14? What year do you have? Our tachs have been known to be off.(B13's)

Tachometers between cars tend to be somewhat inaccurate and may not read exactly the same from car to car. FYI, My NX when it had the stock ECU hit the rev limiter right at 7500rpm. With the JWT ECU, just shy of 8000rpm.

same, here, i have a 91nx, with the stock comp, redline is 7500, and when i went turbo and installed a jwt comp, redline was raised up to 8000.

humm most interesting..
i have a 93nx,
i figured my tach was off, like most stock tachs are, but that much? thats a huge percent error!
there is 100% no way i could have a jwt..
i am the 2nd owner and the 1st owner was this lady that new nothing about her car at all..
7450... thats crazy

look right by your gas pedal, there is a small plastic panel that is held on by one screw, just take that screw out and you'll see it. laterz

thats rediculas! its a 7500 redline and probably a 7700 fuel cutoff, maybe 7800.. no more on a stock ecu.. it sure is interesting watching my friend with the jwt wrap it to 7900 or 8K and not hit any fuel cutoff lol

I have a SAFC and the rev limiter/fuel cut do not hit at the exact rpm every time theres a variation of about 100rpm max.

Sometimes 7487 sometimes 7550 and one time 7613, I got these number from the peck and hold function it has. But generaly when I bounce off the rev limter in first gear it usually around 7500rpms give or take 20rpm.

I have an MDM-100 that shows RPM! I HAVE EYES! It redlines at 7,450! Maybe Nissan just put it at 7500 on the tach to make it easier? I dunno, dont be talking trash though...you were the one that said it could have a 7800rpm fuel cut, nissans DONT HAVE fuel cuts, I dont think you know what you're talking about.

P.S. My stock 92 Nx tach hits the rev limiter at about 7700 or 7750, so yes, tachs are off.

My old 1989 240sx had a fuel cut once you hit 115....
