i'm new to the forum and i'm in need of help bad. i have a 99 sentra se-l, my girlfriend was driving the car when the clutch popped on her way home from work. i got it towed home to take a look and having this problem before i bought a clutch cable. A guy from my job and i were looking at the clutch cable and the part where the end of the clutch cable where the clutch cable hooks onto is cracked at the base. i was just trying to figure out if that's the problem or if it's just the clutch cable again. i don't want to install the pain in the *** clutch cable. i'll try to get some pics posted by the end of the day if that winter storm doesn't hit soon (orlando, FL) so if anyone can help me out please reply, e-mail, or instant message me @ illatouch@aol.com

i think the part that's cracked is called the lever arm. it's right under and next the battery

That part usually breaks for people with ACT clutches. Do you still have the stock clutch on that car? You will either have to get a new arm or have your existing one welded.

it's a stock clutch, the entire car is stock except a JWT intake. Is this what's causing the clutch problem? Can anyone tell me the price to repair this? i'm soooooo poor right now being christmas time and i just paid for tuition.
