The ic pipping diameter depends on the power you are making. IIRC you should use 2"-2.25" for up to 300hp. And 2.5" for up to 400hp. But I could be wrong, I know it was discussed before; however, I'm too lazy to actually look up the info.

For best spoolup and overall power production, go with 2" from turbo to intercooler and 2.5" from the intercooler to the throttle body. This is what sizes were spec'd by Mike Kojima for the F-MAX kit.

They say you need to maintain a certain velocity within the piping, which is approx 450 FT/SEC. I'm planning on having 2.5 HOT/Cold.

I have 2.5" hot and cold and I am only running the HP that is in my sig. This is at stock boost. I recommend this piping to anyone! Good luck!

There is a difference between inside diameter measurement and outside measurement. The pipe sizes are measured inside. The F-max is probably 2inch inside meaning the pipe is really 2 1/4 outside. So those that order 2.5 inch piping from wherever is really 2 1/4 inside and 2.5 outside. So Mark is really running +/-2 1/4 inside piping all around. Hope that makes sense.
