I still have my stock NX2000. Was thinking of going turbo. Would probably go with a JDM SR20DET engine (either bluebird or Avenir).

Don't have the money to do it just yet but need some info on turbo engines.

If I would like to have A/C and Power Steering, do I have to purchase a JDM engine with A/C & Power steering?

I'm not very well versed in engines. So any explanation in layman's english would really be great.

Thanks
Melvyn

If your power steering and A/C work in the the NX2000 you have now, it should not be a problem to hook them up to a JDM DET. All you have to do is bolt the compressor for the a/c and the pump for the PS and run the belts to them and they should be fine.

Both systems run off belts from the motor, and (with the exception of the belts) are separate systems from the motor. When you pull out your old motor, most people leave the compressor and power steering pump in the car and hook them up after dropping in the new motor.

NismoSER...
Thanks for the info.
I guess I'll have to start saving money for a boost! Hehehehehe....can't wait.

Hope I hit a lottery so my dreams of boosting can come earlier. Keep your fingers crossed for me.
