Hi does anyone know the weight of the SR20 DET (GTi-R) engine and gearbox?

Not sure about the DET but my JDM engine weighed in at approx 260 LBS long block might be heavier w/ the turbo and w/ the tranny.....

The tranny weighs in at about 100 pounds, add in the weight of the turbo and other misc. stuff, you are probably looking at 400 lbs, give or take.

Jason (JGY) is sending me my GTi-R motor and GTi-R transaxle in a week and a bit i can ask him what the weight of them is for you.

Ive just bought a 450kg engine stand (so take it that is more than enough?). It will just be the engine and gearbox on there. Having said that the gearbox wont be on there much as im having my new uprated gearset fitted :D

i remember in SCC, their s13 det weighed in a bit over 400 lbs
