: Wierd Gauge Cluster Light Problem CruznSER 08-15-2001, 06:19 AM On the way to work this morning I have counted the gauge cluster light turning off and on about 10-15 times. While the problem was occuring I noticed that the dimmer switch wasn't functioning. I am assuming the switch may be the cause of the problem but not sure. I checked to see if my brake lights and turn signals worked. Both checked out ok. So I know now it's not a blown fuse. Any other ideas on what it might be? Rittmeister 08-15-2001, 08:27 AM Replace the dimmer. If you had blown a fuse the dash lights would stay off permanently. And if you had a completely bad dimmer, they'd stay off permanently. When I bought my car the dash lights did some funny things for a few days, then quit. Put in a new dimmer and they've been golden ever since. $35 or so from the dealer.
