: Any B13 owners w/Ground Controls that can't drop the rear as much as they want? charlie2020 12-10-2002, 02:34 PM I have ground control coilovers but it seems as though the rear coil overs are to tall, even if adjusted all the way down the car doesn't lower anymore after a certain point and there is plenty travel left. I never measured the free height of the springs but I've heard they offer the springs in 8inch and 7inch free lenght, does anyone know if this is true. No, not yet. Those are pillow ball mounts, correct? I think I want to stiffen mine up a bit more, I don't realy mind the firm ride. I think mine are 350lb front and 250lb rear, not sure. I believe I paid $150. They're just like the moti mounts, but instead of a rubber bushing its got a little metal ball thingie. dougnosser 12-11-2002, 12:46 PM These mounts are the funk. I set them up on my B14. You gotta get some. I previously had the motivational mounts,(which aren't bad) but the hourglass shaped rubber bushing would tend to wear prematurely. When I go the ground controls, the shigspeed mounts isolate the shaft eliminating that problem. Is this because i have the GC set all the way down in the front??? | ||
