I don't know much about se-r's but what are some good budget mods to do? how well do these engines react to head porting and cams? i want to stay naturally aspirated but i would like to get into the low to mid 14's? is this possible with bolt ons? i'm more into camaros so i don't know what to do with this car to make it go fast so any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hotshot headers
2-1/4 exhaust
cold air intake
Jim Wolf Tech ECU
underdrive pullies
You're in the 14s easy, without opening the engine. Add some cams and you're mid-low 14s.

This was MY experience:
- Stockish: 21 deg. timing, POP charger, 16" wheels and Nitto NT450s resulted a best of 15.6@88 for me.
- Modded: 21 deg timing, CAI, HS Header, Greddy exhuast and the same tire/wheel combo got me a 14.9@91.5. (60' time was a high 2.2)
Get some slicks and you'd be down to mid 14s with a 1.8 60' time. That would be about $1200-$1500 in mods (depending on how you source your stuff) and you'd have a mid 14 car. Not bad, eh? Add some cams, JWT ECU, Pullies and if you practice hard enough, set your car up properly for the strip, you can have high 13s on slicks. It hasn't been done before (w/o opening the engine), but other se-r drivers are *very close*.
Good luck!

i added a jim wolfe pop-charger air intake and it was the best of the bolt-ons i added for the buck. Except the N-Tech front suspension connecting rod. It will make your car handle like an NSX for about $200.

Just wanted to know more about the N-Tech bar.
Is it for the 91 Se-R? And what exactly does it do?
Thanks, Alex
