I taking a trip to the SCCA nationals and I'm going to get killed because it's a budget trip for the experience only. But I am going to install a new rear sway bar since I think it will be the best bang for the buck handling improvement I can do at this time. Any suggestions on what I should get?

I bought an Addco 19mm rear sway for $89 from JCWhitney. Not a bad deal at all, and it comes unpainted, so you can paint it whatever color you want.

Look into an N-Tech adjustable rear bar. That way you can set it stiff for autox and then soften it up for the street.

check out www.motivational.net, (http://www.motivational.net,) N-Tech makes a really cool suspension upgrade for our cars. It was also reviewed in the June 2001 issue of Sport Compact Car and they said it is the shit!!

You do realize, with a rear sway bar, you'll be put in STS or DSP, right? Just checking...

I'm making the exact same trip for the exact same reason from the other coast! Only mine's REALLY budget... I'm not driving my car! (And probably sleeping in a tent...)

DFL, here I come!
