i was wondering if anyone here has painted their stock nx wheels white. I was planning on doing it and putting them on my black nx. what u guys think?

Do it....if you don't mind wiping your wheels down every damn day you drive the car.

I painted my NX2000 rims with Duplicolor gunmetal wheel paint. It's a red classic instead of an NX, but you get the picture:

I'm thinkin about doin my wheels black on my red nx2k....where do you get that Duplicolor paint?

I got mine at Autozone. It comes in spray cans, and most parts stores should have it. I even saw regular silver at Wal-Mart.

One can was barely enough for the alloys, so I didn't do the centercaps. It takes a lot effort to get even coverage all around the seven spokes on NX2000 rims. I'd recommend two cans for anyone using spray paint.

you've had experience with white wheels i presume? :D

One of my buddies put white rims on his Golf. On my car, whoever had it before me painted the rims white and thought it would be cool to never clean them.

So, they ceased being white and were a nasty bone color with permanent brake dust. Then they really ceased being white after I got mad at them, stripped the paint, and painted them back to silver. Then, I sold them :p

Does anybody have anypics of a red nx with (any) black rims?....just curious as to what mine will look like after i paint the stock 14's.

Black would look tight on a red NX.
