nissanfrek 12-14-2002, 03:17 AM I put in the 94 G20 ecu I got from www.car-parts.com in today. Holly crap what a diffrence it made the car runs stonger then ever. But im wondering if they will accept a G20 unit. If they do i can get one for probaly about $100 or so... which is still cheaper than the $200 core fee. Catch? Now I know that this ECU will fit any B14 '95-'98(plug and play). But I still have two more questions: first, I know that this ECU will get rid of the seed limiter, but how much will bump your redline? second, Sorry, but what you mean when you said "99 SE-R will get CEL"? Thanks! Ericdd 12-23-2002, 06:01 PM up to 97 will plug in with no problem. any year after that will get a "service engine soon" light on. the car runs pretty normal even with it on. (I have it now) but sometimes the idle is screwy. the redlimiter will be 7500 with the ECU. rewire to avoid light procedure (http://www.g20style.com/how_to_wire_a_95.htm) worth every penny. since swapped the ECU I have never hit my revlimiter. OnyxEros 12-23-2002, 06:40 PM I got mine a over a year ago and prompt went out and bounced off the 7500rpm (indicated) limiter. it's a lot of fun especially if you have the '91 intake cam or better. And i have reciently found out it's even more fun with a header and exhaust. fun stuff dyno to come...
