Not too long ago in the Classic Se-r forum it was mentioned to try to get together locally (NC/SC/VAetc) for Se-r owners, Are some of you still interested? I don't know that I could put something together myself but am interested even if its not a 'track' event . Let's get a roll call going and see if we can get it started?

noway dude..yeah i started that old post..im doing my engine swap tomorrow thats why i have been kinda quit about it..But i am going to be relocating to charlotte around the 15th to goto UNCC..i think sometime in september we should all hook up and have our little East Coast Meet!!

What kind of "track" event are you talking about?

I occasionally find my way to the 1/4 mile strip at Rockingham. Friday nights are test'n'tune.

Tarheel Sports Car Club has a track school at the 2.3 mile road course in Kershaw SC in November. About an hour from Charlotte.

i'm in VA, and would LOVE to meet some other SE-R owners!!

I'm in WV, and was just thinking of a dragstrip that would be 'central' to the NC/SC/VA areas.
And, I came up with....Bristol, TN/VA.

Well i posted a possible get together here in East TN but no one bit at it. Im in Elizabethton(10 mins from Bristol Motor Speedway). I have a house with only me in it, and a huge yard. But no one wanted to come here. Im leaving monday for nashville so its too late now. Maybe sometime in januray or on i could host it. But i doubt anyone would want to do anything. Best time is in summer when bristol is open for friday night grudge nights. Wanted to get some modded se-r's to go kick some ass....like bens turbo. but oh well. everyone missed that chance.

we have time to plan it out! i think bristol or rockingham would be great..i want to avoid a 1.8 mile track thouh..we just have to keep in touch, write back to this post with your email addres AOL screen names or AIM scrren names, im going to gather together a list of south east people!

The next Friday night test'n'tune at Rockingham is this Friday. It's still a bit too hot for me. I want some cool, dry air so I can get into the 14s. I'm thinking October or November. Later=Cooler=Faster!!!

Looks like there's 2 Fridays in October (19 and 26) and November 23rd. Since the 23rd of November is the day after Thanksgiving, I vote for either the 19th or 26th of October.
