Those things can read MAF voltages right? Post em!! Whats the highest youv gotten it to with what mods? TIA.

topped mine out, 5.11V, stock maf. t25, S3 cams, jwt ecu, 60mm greddy exhaust, FMIC, at around 10psi in pretty cold weather (~50F).

Mine topped out at 5.1x something. This was at 12psi in third on the highway.

JWT ecu, FMIC, 3in w/no cat and 10+ yr old u12 t25 bb motor.

You can see 5.1v from the MAF. I know I have. ;)

My car car has seen 4.41, which on the dyno turned out to be 147.9hp. This is my SE-R Cup car with S3s (retarded intake cam for better midrange and less peak hp), tuned JWT ECU for less top end, HotShot header, JWT Dual disc clutch and flywheel, exhaust, HotShot CAI, etc.

At one point, my motor went "soft" due to a mild overheating "incident" during a race in Vegas. I was pulling 4.1 volts the next race weekend, which turned out to be @120 at the wheels on the dyno a few weeks later.

The power is down 10+ hp for the mods due to the weight ratio in the race class I'm in - I had JWT re-tune the ECU for less top end and we retarded the cam. Without the de-tuning I'd be over 160 probably. For every hp I have to put 15 pounds in the car, I got my car down to 2170 with 1/2 a tank of gas, but had to ballast up for the power I make. More power = more weight, which is bad in the turns.

I should slap it in my G20 and see what the voltage is on it. It has a bad det sensor, rod knock and no real power mods...

I saw 4.3 v. That seems a bit high.

What kind of hp are you making?

Naji makes a little more hp as I do (like 152) and he sees a little more voltage than me (like 4.4).

I could swear that i have seen higher before, but in the past two days it's maxed at 4.49V. Lately i have been paying more attention to the water temp (WHEN do i get heat?!?) and O2 sensor output.
Mods in the sig are current. Same for the dyno numbers

Sorry to dig up an old post but I was wondering what other have gotten. I see 4.62-4.68v depending on outside temp at 7500rpm. Mods in sig

The abslute MAX voltage on ANY MAF in ANY setup is 5.11 volts. If you are htting it you want a new MAF quickly!

I hit 5.11 volts on the 240 MAF I had on my car before I upgraded to the Cobra. It leaned out a bit and unseated the headgakset. Lucky that's all it did!

It would be very interesting to see a chart showing the relationship between max MAF voltage & whp numbers from the dyno.

I don't have a techtom, but I do have a NissDataScan (from IMPAKT) which does similar things.
The highest reading I recall on my unmodified G20 is 3.90 volts.
I wasn't flogging it for any particular reading, though.

I'm guessing 6800rpms, full-throttle, 2nd gear should give a better reading

im going way over 5V my self also, and i have a mines ECU.i think the modded ECU`s are making the MAF max out

no, the maf voltage only depends on how much air is going through it. It doesn't care what ECU it's hooked up to; heck, it doesn't need to be hooked up as long as it's getting power.
