i know a friend of a friend who is trying to sell me a Garrett ball bearing T3/T4 turbo the other day. he's had it for a while and never installed it. it's basically brand new. i am not the most knowlegeable person when it comes to turbos. do you have any tips on what i should look for and ask? he's trying to sell it asap for $250.

this the real deal. he needs to get rid of it fast.

look for alot of shaft play and bent fins. hell even if there is play it is worth it for that cheap.

There's more to it than just having a "turbo!"

A/R makes a huge difference. Trim? Compressor Wheel?

What's the setup?

Still a very low price.
