and it flooded the cylinder. The car basically ran like it had a flooded carburetor.

I found out that the o-ring broke because it was lubed with motor oil. The Nissan spec that I took it to said that you should lube them with grease because motor oil breaks down eventually under heat and that's why my o-ring failed. They were new o-rings and freshly calibrated injectors (RC engineering).

Just thought you future injector swappers should know...

that doesnt make much sense to me, the lube is just to get it to fit onto the injector without breaking, once the injector is on its job is done really.
that sucks though

What kind of grease should be used? I have injectors going in soon. You might want to check your oil now. I was fitting some 370 injectors that leaked. The oil smelled like gas really bad. The oil cap smelled like the gas cap :(

my oil was good, believe it or not! I actually had gas get in there once before so I checked it
