Simple wasn't it? So many people don't do this, and I think it is crucial for high mileage SR20's from 91-94 to get this new tensioner.

yes it is crutial, I don't know why people dont do it, when my tensioner was winey I would feel bad about redlining the car, I wouldnt do it, but after I replaced it the car felt 100 times better, that is a must as well as regrounded the maf for classics

i have a question,

on that little latch , did you leave the latch closed or open so it can freely swing, because when i installed mine i think i left it how it came in the box which was closed.

you want the little latch to be closed, so it will disengage properly when you turn the car over!!

What they said. It is so nice to have these small write-ups with pictures. I appreciate the people with means of hosting a page with pictures hosting that do this sort of thing. ALl these little write-ups allow most people to takle about any project.

thankyou everybody, i always like to take pics of what i do to help others out.. Rick Zotz's (sp) write up about the install helped me out greatly...
