no pics this time, it was pretty strait forward, i had no previous experience with shifters what so ever, so i found the instructions pretty damn confusing.. so i ran over the whole procedure with serban (fast91ser) and once i got under there everything was easy.. except for the rusted bolts.. but everything is done and the heat sheild is in, they really arent kidding when they say dent it, i was pushing mine against a supporting beam in my basement, that seemed to work the best. I drove it today and there is a major difference! each gear is a click away! i was expecting a shifter that only had a knob sticking out, not one close to stock height, but its all good... as serban said, "a short shifter is actually a "short throw shifter", not a "low to the ground shifter":p

highly recomended product to buy!!!

thanks again serban!

Sure thing man, glad you got the shifter in. I felt like the SR20 tech support last night :D

I put mine in last spring and haven't looked back. I love the short throws. I don't think I could ever feel comfortable using the stock horse cock of a shifter again!!!

You must have a B14 :D They are known for their "well endowed" stock shifters.

Do you still have the original shift lever that you took out? Is it from an NX/B13 or a B14? I would be interested in it as I have a short shifter in my car (unknown type) that I don't care for.
