Very hard if you dont purchase brackets. Brackets for b14's are on ebay, heres the link http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=42612&item=7939104207&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW.. I think b13 ones are also on ebay. If you get these then its a bolt on affair

(off topic) ditto that. the "noob" responses were pretty low. EVERY question has been answered in one post or another. (sarcasm on)how about we all just stop asking questions?! How about we all stop answering questions?! It'd be a great forum then!! I'd love that "fellowship" and sense of "community"! (/sarcasm off)

I've been a member for a couple of years. I ask VERY little because people are always getting their a$$e$ chewed for asking questions. No offense intended to the peeps who are useful and can answer the same questions several times. My hat goes off to ya'll and that's the reason i stick around. 'Apreciate yer patience.

(on topic) I remember seeing that Pep Boys started carrying seat brackets some time ago. Not sure if they carry one's for our particular applications though. I believe they were pretty inexpensive and you wouldn't have to worry about getting them from an "unknown" internet entity.

The thing is, he didnt post to ask a question, he posted to answer a question, whats the point of that? I dont think they would care by now. Thats just like someone calling you and leaving you a message, then calling them back a year later. You really think they are still gonna give a shit?

The person who authored the thread might not, but most assuredly someone who came along and had a similar question could learn something. For example, if someone had a question about sliders/brackets one could learn(from this thread):

A. it is very difficult to use the "universal" sliders without brackets.
B. brackets can be found on E-bay as a (sometime) inexpensive alternative to "big name" stores.
C. You can also make your own "custom" brackets and for advice on how to do so, you could e-mail Witt.
D. Another website is provided for the purchase of sliders/brackets
E. Witt can also tell us all how to make a custom office chair from a racing bench. I personally think this is kinda cool. On the other hand, the wife would NEVER allow that in the house. hee hee
F. Spearco makes a set of brackets for our applications.
G. NEVER ask a question if yer a new guy. :-(

That's what I learned from that thread, regardless that the original question was asked nearly one year ago.

I have replied to my own thread sometimes when i have come up with a solution to my problem so that the next guy who came along with the same question might find the answer. There have been tons of threads where I personally wish that SOMEONE would have replied with a solution to the persons problem but, alas, no one did.

I'm not trying to start a flame thread/war here but info is valuable regardless of the timeframe. I'll say no more because I think I've said too much. :-) I'm long winded that way.
