Well to make things shitty, Napa had to give me the wrong axle. This is the 2nd time that they have done it. The first time they gave me 2 passager axles, and the first one I put on was too short, and it leaked my tranny fluid. Now this one is completly different, only one part of the axle pivots instead of both ends pivoting. Tomorrow morning im going in there to raise some hell.

in the constant velocity (CV) joint, u see the like 3 pronged fork?? in most cars there are balls, they use the balls for the joint so it can flex. now really looking at nissan ones, do they not have balls? is it just 2 meshing 3 legged forks that flex? almost all the american cv joints have huge ball bearings. (i am new to nissan, been in honda/acura the past 3 years... + american knowledge *** of my dads into american and my bro has a 71 gto)

ohh well the other night I was trying to pull out of my garage to move my car, and i got off the clutch and gave it gas and it wasnt moving, almost like something was caught infront of the wheel, but nothing was. Then the car jerked foward and stopped again and did the same thing, when it did this a VERY loud popping noise and grinding noise was heard, it happend 3 or 4 more times untill the car finially moved, was I riding on only 1 axle then?

no there are bearings in there. you just dont get a good illustration of it with these pics.

but been there done that with a simlar looking axle. actualy think mine was worse....it was drier inside. but oriely got my axle replaced right the first time....unlike calum's. but thats really how hit or miss it is with reman'd parts
