i know you did the 5 speed swap into your classic and i was wondering if you could hook me up with a list of things that where needed for the swap. I would appreciate it if you could... oh... and would it effect anything if i went with a pre 98 tranny with the LSD into my 98 without the LSD? do axles or anything need to be changed? TIA for any help..... anyone else that may have info please post.

I had a problem with the 5th gear popout, when I opened up the tranny, the 5th gear was ok, but I had to change the 5th gear shift fork.

But to get the tranny out, and apart, you'll need various size sockets (10mm, 12, 14, 17, and 32)

Jay Whitley will be doing the swap for me. Im not worried about what is needed to actually do the swap but more what parts are needed. ie the clutch pedal and linkage the shifter stuff like that.

He should know the list of parts. Its hard for me to remeber, but when I did Mine I used a 95 G20t tranny. I had to change a mount, axles, linkages, clutch and brake pedal assemblies, clutch assembly,shifter,new shifter surround finisher, shift knob. He should know what parts are needed. If you need any call me sometimes I can get OEM nissan parts cheaper
