I just wanted to let you guys know about a different console idea I used. For those of you with the NX console; you can put a G20 (P10) armrest on. I missed my stock armrest after installing the NX console, but I really liked the little compartment. So my solution was to install the G20 lid/armrest.

Great post! I'd always thought about attempting this mod, but never ran across a G20 in my local salvage yards.

Thanks, I was a little surprised myself to see one in the junkyard. I'm curious if the older Maxima consoles will fit. I've seen a couple of those around, and it looks similar. This idea didn't strike me until I had the G20 already on though.

its too big...ugh...looks like a baloon on top of there hehe...thats my 2 cents....im happy with my nx2000 armrest i just got :)

i saw the g20 armrest, but have never seen a nx armrest.....

I don't have a picture of the NX armrest, but it isn't very tall. Maybe a couple (2) inches at the most, whereas the G20 is nearly 6" tall or so. I had to lean over to use my old armrest w/ the console.

does anyone know if a 93 nx console will work on a 91 sentra?

it looks different in way than mine does cause it has a box attached to it that has a cubby hole and cig lighter.

I used to have a pic of the armrest on my website...but its gone now :p If you guys need a pic of it, I can dig one up.

Does that lid closes & locks just like the original one? (NX2000)

No, the lid won't lock down; but as heavy as it is, it stays down very well.

it has a ciggy lighter in it?! ive never heard of that...maybe you meant the ash tray in the back of it? if so then it should fit...make sure you get the bracket in the back that the armrest bolts down thru the carpet with
