I well im sending my money for my CAI monday. And when i get it i wanted to know the basics of instaling it. I know you need to cut a hole in the peice on the side(dont know the name). Also there is a plastic thing down there from the stock intake how do i get that out. Help me out please.

How will i know what the splash guard is. Is it that lttle plastic peice on the inside of the wheel well.

Yes you will have to cut a hole (most CAIs for our cars need to.)Just use a dremmel tool and a lot of care. Depending on whos you get it prob. will come with a pattern.

The resonator box you will have to remove by taking off the splash guard for that side. You have to do this anyway because that is where your filter will now go. Either take the wheel off or you can turn the wheel to the right all the way and you should be able to get at it easily.
