When was the first sr20de engine released? was it a classic SE-R?

There was not a 1990 G20 available. Do you mean when they released the 1991 G20. They released it at the end of '90.

G20 (P10) production 1991-1996
stop production in 1997-1998
G20 (P11) production 1999-2002

In 1990 Infiniti only had a M30 and a Q45 available.

It comes down to when was the first manufactured Nissan/Infiniti with a SR20DE available in the United States.

That, I do not know.
