Trying to adjust my headlights and another sign of owning an ancient car shows up: The square plastic piece that snaps into the back of the headlight which holds the end of the side-to-side adjusting bolt busted while I was messing with it. My question is:

Can I get this from the HELP section of an auto parts store? Or is it a thing I have to drive an hour to the nearest Nissan stealership to order? My car is without a way to solidly attach my headlight at the moment. :(

i plan on doing my tsuru conversion by friday (if my baby is not born this week). if i dont need the part that you are talking about, i will send it to you.

by the way, thanks for the offer of replacing my engine for $250+food+beer. i am just waiting for engine to go bad. i figure in about a month i will be down there. how much more will you charge me if we swap out the cams from the old engine to the new one? thanks

No charge for the cams if we can do it the same weekend.

My car is down in my garage right now with no headlight so if you could send me this piece like today, that would work, but otherwise I've got to find something that will work so I can drive my rattlebox again.

Ben,

Which headlight piece broke? Drivers or passenger? One of mine broke too. Laly, if you could send me the other piece when you do your conversion (if its the one that ben doesn't need), i'd be happy to take it off your hands.

My driver side broke on my car. The headlight now points about 10 feet in front of my car :(

This is the plastic piece in the driver's side headlight, inner adjusting bolt (closer to center of car) that connects the adjusting bolt to the back of the headlight.

That's the same piece that broke on my car. I can tell it had been repaired before because of the glue that was "holding" it on. I'll probably use some epoxy to see if it holds.
