was the flywheel resurfaced? How long did you break the clutch in for? These things may have contributed towards a chttering clutch

One thing sticks out---you say it is only happening when it's cold. I would think of it were due to the fact you didn't resurface the flywheel, that it would do it all the time. Breaking it in right is, obviously, important. However, if it goes away when the car is warm then I don't think its the lack of break-in either. I don't know....that one stumps me a bit.

i broke it in for 600 miles cause thats one thing i did not want to replace again any time soon.
as far as i know it was resurfaced cause i payed for it to be.
does not sound like clutch chatter though.
yeah once the car warms up seems like its alot better

Well, if you paid for this to be done then take it back and politely complain about it. They are liable for making it "right" if you paid them to do the work.

It could, but most likely, if the mounts are bad, you'd get a jerking feeling when shifting/down-shifting. Or when accelerating from a stop.

Based on what you, and others, have said above I think that I would be looking at those motors mounts if I were you. The last thing you want to have happen is your tranny to crack
