Hey whats up guys, I think I smoked my clutch. Today I tried to peel out of a friends house and my tires didn't spin but the revs went up after that i know I smelled a burnt clutch. How bad is it? will I need to buy a new clutch? but wait as a drove home the clutch didn't slip I guess thats good. Pls help sorry about the bad writing. Thanks guys later.

may have been hot and that's why it was slipping. But that doesnt mean its healthy. Mine did the same thing about 6 months ago and now its ready to hit the pile. May be OK for a bit, but you might want to start saving for a new clutch.

Have you tried adjusting the clutch cable?

It could just be out of adjustment.

i remember one day i totally killed the clutch at a track

it was an original clutch (@75k) as far as i know, and after about the 5th pass, the thing barely grabbed enough to drag me off the track

but now its over a year later and the clutch is fine now, heck, i can still chirp the tires shifting into 2nd gear.

i think the stock clutch just doesnt take well to heat... it doesnt have good strength but it does have good longevity

Dads SE-R was slipping a while back. You can't even try to chirp or shift hard in it anymore. That thing is pretty much gone. Daily driving is fine, but don't try to have fun in it.
