some guy from tirerack is on there and he said its better...i know i started a diffrent thread but that didnt get many views

i know ive made up my mind on what im going to get :)

I have a friend with the eagle f1's and I have had a set myself. We got them really cheap and bought alot of them. They are a good tire.

I think I will stick to my *** tires on my *** car. I guess I just need to see these tires in person on the track before I make a big switch, and they are a little pricey.

they are pricy...but the ratings i have heard on them make up my mind...i think its worth the extra bucks to get a great tire that i can use for autocrossing AND daily use

We were able to buy them in 205-50's for $30 a tire. It was sweet. My friend bought like 20 of them, and now has my four old ones.

There is always a better tire in the works. It could very well be that the Eagle F1 tires are currently the best but fitment isn't available for the OEM 15s. You can make your own conclusions. For the time being, I only have 15s so I'll stick with the S-03.

The Kuhmo MX's seem to be might good for the price also. Real close to the BFG KD's.

I spoke too soon. The testing was not truely independent. It was done at the Goodyear site. I don't trust that in the least.
