I can get a AVC-R for 400, or spend the 400 on a cheaper controller, and individual gauges. The only thing I am wondering is... Is the gauge on the unit clear and precise, or is it laggy(?) and hard to see. I havent been able to see one yet, and that is a big factor to me. What to you think folks? Josh

I would rather have an idividual boost gauge then one on a AVC-R. With me i keep my SAFC out of sight like i'd do with a AVC-R and the problem with that is you always want to watch boost. I have a gauge mounted on my steering column and the SAFC where the ashtray was. DOn't know where you plan on putting it so that could be a determination also. I just bought all Greddy gauges and purchased a Profec B yesterday. There easy as shit to tune, i heard the AVC-R is a little difficult, but i guess thats like anything when youve never used one...

Im new to boost period. The only reason I am considering it is the price, 400$. I guess I would be better off using a more simple system. Thanks, Josh
