It'd fit from a 91-02 G20. My guess for easiest install would probably be a 94-96 P10 as with a P11 (99-02 G20) you'd have to get a different, earlier model year ECU. But I guess if you're going to go through the trouble of dropping in a VE, something as simple as swapping a few sensors and getting a different ECU are the least of your worries. So either '96 or '02 depending on how you look at it.

You should be able to swap a VE into any P10 or P11 G20 (I think that's what your asking, right?)

(I can't believe I am answering this)

It doesn't matter. The swap is not going to be hard no matter which car you chose. You can make it hard if you like by choosing to install a new ecu and a bunch of other stuff. But in the end if you want to make it easy just pull the old engine/swap out the inj on the VE for the inj on the DE (including harness), swap water temp sensor, put de TB on VE, put de distributor on de (grind a little away) fabricate the throttle cable points, drop new engine in car. Ignore anything else that does not directly connect. The heater core lines are a little different. Other then that it is cake.

Edit: Forgot AICV stuff, one connector needs to be spliced

I believe I found a way to swap part of it over so you don't need to splice any wires or connectors and still retain everything.

Well, '99 was the last year in the US that used the old-style computer. Should be slightly less work than putting a VE into a '00+ car. If you're just going to use the stock VE ECU, anyway, then it's all about the same...
